Announcement of Public Comment Period for
Proposed Interagency Agreement
The Department of Education and the Vermont Agency of Human Services are the Co-Lead Agencies appointed by the Governor to provide oversight and support to the Family, Infant and Toddler Program. The Family, Infant and Toddler Program is the name of Vermont's Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Developmental Delays and Disabilities. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act requires that an interagency agreement be in place between the Part C Program and Part B, Special Education Program (specifically the Preschool Special Education Program known in Vermont as the Essential Early Education Program).

The Co-Lead Agencies invite public comment on its draft Interagency Agreement for a sixty day period of time beginning April 17th and ending June 15th. There are several ways to offer public comment...

You may download a PDF of the full Announcement for all the details!
