About VPIC

Ways to Refer Parents to VPIC:

Ask the parent if he or she would like to talk to someone at a parent organization that is not affiliated with the school or other agency and that can provide them with information and support to help their child. Explain to the family that we will listen and try to help based on what needs they identify as important.

1. If yes, give the parent our name and phone number.

876-5315 (Chittenden County)

800-639-7170 (Voice Mail, outside of Chittenden County)

802-773-2023 (Rutland Office, Lynette Over)

2. Or, if yes, ask the parent if you can give us their name and phone number and we will call the parent. In our experience it is usually more effective to use this referral method, especially if the parent has never heard of VPIC.
